Use the tabs and totals
The tabs across the top of the list show All submittals or one status at a time, with a count on each: Draft, Open and Closed. Your saved views follow them.
The four totals above the list always count every submittal on the project, whatever you've filtered:
| Total | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Outstanding | Submittals not yet closed, with how many have been logged in total. |
| With reviewers | Submittals waiting on a workflow response. |
| Overdue | Submittals past the date they were required back. Click it to filter the list to them. |
| Approved | Submittals stamped Approved, as a share of everything logged, and how many more are approved as noted. Click it to see the approved ones. |
Search
Type in the search box and press Enter or click Apply. Search looks at the number, spec section, title, type and every column currently shown. Click Clear to start again.
Filter
Status, Latest stamp, Waiting on, Overdue and Resp. contractor are always in the filter row. Click one, tick the values you want, and the list updates when the menu closes. Latest stamp includes Pending for submittals with no stamp yet.
For anything else, click + Add filter and choose from Type, Spec section, Waiting on (person), Approver, Submittal manager, Reviewer, Submitted by, Received from, Location, Cost code, or the dates Final due, Sent, Returned, Distributed, Submit by, Received, Required on site and Actual delivery. Date filters let you choose is before, is after, is between, is blank or is not blank.
Combine filters with "and" and "or"
Click All filters to build more complex filters. Conditions in the same group must all match (and). Click Add group (or) to add another group; a submittal shows if it matches any group. Click Apply when you're done, or Clear all filters to start over.
Choose columns
Click Columns, tick the columns you want, and click Apply columns. # and Title are always shown. Besides the defaults you can add Submittal manager, Reviewer, Submitted by, Received from, Location, Submit by, Received, Required on site, Anticipated delivery, Confirmed delivery, Actual delivery, Lead time (days), Cost code, Schedule activity and Trips through review. Reset to the default columns puts things back. To change their order, drag a column up or down in the list, or press ↑ or ↓ on its grip.
The Approvers column lists the people on the workflow, with (required) next to those whose response is required.
Sort
Click a column heading to sort by it. Click again to reverse the order, and a third time to go back to the default: newest submittal first.
Overdue submittals are tinted and marked Overdue.
StruXure remembers your columns and sort in this browser. To keep a set of filters too, and to get it back on any project, save it as a view.
