Starting from a template
A template gives the meeting its standing agenda:
- Its agenda items are added to the new meeting, in order, each Open.
- Its default type is chosen for you.
- If you haven't typed a title, the template's name is used.
A template never adds attendees, dates or times. Those belong to each meeting. See Set up meeting templates.
Good to know
- Agenda items and attendees are added after the meeting is created, on its Agenda and Attendees tabs.
- If you don't see New meeting, you have Read access only.
- To create the next meeting in a series, with the open items carried in, use Follow-Up Meeting on the last one instead. See Call a follow-up meeting.
If something goes wrong
- "A meeting needs a title.": type a title, or start from a template.
- "A meeting needs a date and a start time.": fill in both.
