Deleting a meeting moves it to the project's recycle bin, with its agenda items, attendance sheet and history. It can be restored at any time until an admin empties the bin.
Tip
If a meeting was called but didn't go ahead, consider moving it to Cancelled instead. It stays on the list as a record. Deleting is best for meetings created by mistake, such as duplicates.
Delete a meeting
- Open the meeting.
- Click Delete at the top of the page.
- Read the confirmation and click Delete meeting.
You're taken back to the meetings list, which says The meeting is in the recycle bin.
Restore a meeting
- On the meetings list, click Recycle Bin at the bottom of the list. The number in brackets is how many meetings are in it.
- Find the meeting and click Restore.
The meeting goes back on the list with the same number and everything it had before.
Good to know
- A meeting can be deleted at any status.
- The bin shows who deleted each meeting, and when.
- Meetings stay in the recycle bin until someone empties it; nothing is removed automatically.
- A deleted meeting's number is never given to another meeting.
